Dr. Ryan Thorpe teaches humanities and writing courses at the University of Michigan-Shanghai Jiao Tong University Joint Institute and serves as the assistant director of its writing program.
He holds a dual-focus PhD from Oklahoma State University in creative writing and TESOL, bringing together his passions for literary craft and language education.
